Standard Creation Fee – $375.00
This fee reflects the careful planning, professional setup, and creative effort dedicated to producing high-quality portraits.
Standard Pet Portraits | Session Time
A standard pet photography session usually lasts a few hours. It can be shorter or longer, depending on your pet. However, your pet session fee will not change.
On rare occasions, we may need to reschedule if your pet seems moody or too tired to cooperate. On these occasions, provided the session is within the greater Treasure Valley, there will be no charge for a reschedule.
Digital and Print Packages Available
Standard pet session fees don’t include digital files or printed photos. We offer separate packages for images and prints. This way, you can choose the format and number of photos you want.
By keeping these elements separate, we ensure flexibility and customization for each client, tailoring the final product to your preferences.
Creative fees are non-refundable. Costs for pre-production, post-production, assistants, and usage fees are not included.
Digital Proofs and Retouching Services
When you first see your photos, they’ll be in the form of digital proofs. These proofs give you a preview of what the final images will look like. You can view them online in a digital gallery or during a print presentation. During this time, you and the photographer can decide on any final adjustments to make the images perfect.
Retouching is all about making your photos look their best while keeping them natural and real. When a photo is retouched, the photographer carefully edits it to improve its appearance. This can include fixing the color, adjusting the brightness, or making the image sharper. Standard retouching, which is included with all prints, usually involves things like softening facial blemishes, whitening teeth, and removing stray hairs.
Sometimes, a photo might need more advanced changes, known as enhanced retouching. This could mean removing a person or pet collar from the image, changing the background, or making other big changes. These custom retouching services go beyond the basics to give you a truly unique photo.

Copyright, Usage, and Watermark
When Idaho Photography Studios takes pictures on your behalf, we are operating as an independent agent who retains all copyrights to images we create. This means we have the right to decide how the photos are used. For example, we can put the photos on our website, use them in advertisements, sell copies of those images, and may use them for any purpose without your permission.
When you purchase a digital image or a print package, you are granted limited usage rights to use these photos on social media and for personal use. Unless otherwise specified, you are explicitly prohibited to use these images for business or commercial use. We professionally edit all digital files to make sure they look great. If you buy a digital image (not included in a package), there is an extra fee for retouching services.
You must buy printed photos directly from our professional print lab to keep the quality high.
Both digital and printed photos have a small studio watermark. This watermark credits our studio but doesn’t distract from the picture.
