Understanding Idaho Signature Pet Photography Pricing
Welcome! This page outlines the pricing structure for Signature Pet Portraits offered by Idaho Photography Studios.
Our Signature Sessions are designed for pet owners who want timeless, professionally crafted portraits without the scale of our Masters Pet Series. For portraits featuring both pets and their people, please visit our Portrait Photography Services.
Signature Creation Fee – $375.00
- Pre-session consultation
- A custom-tailored, on-location session
- Travel within the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle)
- Session planning, photography time, image curation, and a private proofing gallery
📸 Sessions are on-location only. We do not offer in-studio Signature Pet sessions.
Travel outside the Treasure Valley is available and billed at $2 per mile, round trip from Boise.
Session Duration & Pet Comfort
Signature sessions typically run about 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on your pet’s energy, comfort, and cooperation. There is no additional charge if the session runs shorter or slightly longer.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that sometimes pets—or people—have off days. If your pet is unusually stressed, tired, or uncooperative, we may recommend rescheduling.
Reschedules are allowed at no additional cost under the following conditions:
- Session is within the greater Treasure Valley
- Rescheduling is due to bad weather, pet temperament, illness (photographer or client)
- Minimum 24-hour notice from client
- Limit of 2 reschedules per session
Prints & Digitals Sold Separately
To give you complete flexibility, print and digital products are sold separately from the session fee. This allows you to select the print sizes and digital files that best suit your needs.
By separating artwork from the session fee, we ensure your investment is tailored to your goals—whether that’s framed wall art, albums, or digital keepsakes.
Digital Proofing & Retouching
After your session, you’ll receive a set of watermarked digital proofs for review via an online gallery or during a private ordering appointment. From there, you’ll choose your favorite images for prints and/or digital delivery.

Standard Retouching (included in all packages):
- Color correction and tone balancing
- Cropping and exposure adjustments
- Minor cleanup for clarity and polish
Enhanced Retouching (available by quote):
- Removal of collars, leashes, bridles, tags, or people
- Background cleanup or object removal
- Complex edits or artistic enhancements
* Images are optimized for professional lab printing. Consumer labs may produce poor color and tonal results.
Traditional Print Packages
High-quality, professionally retouched prints—perfect for framing, gifts, or display. Print packages are required before any digital images may be purchased.
Wallet and 5×7 sheets must contain the same image per sheet. Different sheets may feature different images.
