The building’s intriguing design with various angles and perspectives made it an exciting subject. We used a medium-format camera with a specialized shift and tilt lens during the shoot. This lens allowed us to adjust the driveway overhead and correct the building’s perspective.
Standard Lens
Comparing the before and after pictures showcased the remarkable impact of the shift and tilt lens. The vibrant and foliage-rich grounds at Scentsy enhanced the overall beauty. To capture the perfect lighting, we spent two days determining the ideal time for the shoot.
When comparing the two images, look closely at the building lines and their differences. You can observe this best if you look at the driveway overhang angle or the roof lines, comparing how they are different. It’s most apparent when you view the clock tower between the standard and tilt-shift lenses. Finally, take a last look at the building itself as a whole. The standard lens makes the building look like it is leaning backward, whereas the tilt-shift lens makes an overall straighter image.
